We have just arrived back from a trip to Kenya’s Maasi Mara area.  So here is a little taster with he promise of more to come in the next few weeks.

This photo of a cheetah was taken at sunrise just after it had decided that it’s preliminary chase of a wildebeest wasn’t going to be successful; it’s just ‘easing off the gas’.  Hot air balloon’s often fly at dawn and are a regular sight in the early morning skies over the Maasi Mara.  On this occasion, I rather liked the unintended intrusion of these man-made features is what is otherwise a landscape that is unusually untainted.
