More Mr Fox

My ‘suburban fox’ project has been ongoing in the background and by that I mean mainly in the dark hours of the night.  I’ve been trying to work out where they travel around and through my garden and had guessed wrong a few times.  After using a couple of night vision trail cameras I realised that at least one fox was taking a completely obvious route down a garden path.  So I’ve been concentrating on that for about 10 days.  After many robins, pigeons, squirrels, several cats and lots of the resident dog plus a couple of rearrangements of gear and switching lenses I’ve finally added to my collection of fox pics.

Now my goal is to try and capture it getting into the garden.  I think it may be jumping up and scrambling over a high hedge or fence.  I’m fairly certain on this because we have a secure fence around the garden that is mainly there to keep a dog in rather than a fox out.  The simple fact that the dog hasn’t escaped the garden means I’m quite sure there are no fox sized holes under or through the fence.  Plus, on driving home one evening I spotted a fox making a remarkably deft and speedy entry to my garden by doing exactly this.  That hedge is well over 6 feet high.
