Yesterday we took full advantage of the brilliant weather to walk in the woods at a local National Trust house (Hinton Ampner house in Hampshire).  This is an attractive house on a high ridge.  Inn springtime, the woods can be stunning with their blooming of Bluebells that carpet the forest floor. We have visited before but this year we hit ‘peak bluebells just right and the ground was dry for a change!

 We also saw hares in the fields as we walked to the woods (no photos though as I was travelling light).
