Bathing robins…

The juvenile robins have been making great use of our garden.  Think its about two weeks since I first saw them and, at the moment, the parent or parents (it’s hard to tell if both are involved) are still feeding these two young birds away from the nest.

The juveniles also seem to spend more time bathing than the parents.  Perhaps those new fine feathers take a bit of looking after.  This means they have been daily visitors to the small pool. It’s given me the opportunity of testing out the pool and setting up a hide and dual flash guns.  I think I’ve pretty much got it dialled in now.  So here’s a few examples of our youngsters taking a dip.

The technical setup is as in my previous post.
